Denis Santachiara began his career in 1980, creating works that have been displayed at different events, including: the Venice Biennial, Documenta 8 Kassel, Milan Triennial `82-`84-`86, Rome Quadrennial 1999. His objects are exhibited in the following museums: MOMA in New York, Musée des Arts Decoratifs at the Louvre in Paris, National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, Lyon Museum, Frankfurt Museum, Philadelphia Museum, Vitra Museum. In 1999, he was awarded the Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and in April 2000, he was awarded the Design World prize. He has worked and continues to work with Italian and international companies for modern dining tables and other items, such as: SniaViscosa, CentrostileFiat, Progettocultura ‘Montedison’, French Ministry of Culture, Artemide, Swatch, Mandarina Duck, Rosenthal, Panasonic, Domodinamica, BPT, Vitra, Campeggi, Superga, Bang & Olufsen, Banca Generali, De Padova, Chrysler/Benz, Foscarini, Marutomy, Baleri Italia, La Murrina, Tonelli, Triangolo, Magis, Zerodisegno.
