The shelves of this storage unit are built with glass of .23 inches. The structure is made of .31 inches thick glass, and the sliding doors are .19 in thickness. The designers recommend a maximum load of 34 lbs over each shelf. The entire unit can withstand a load of about 225 lbs. The shelves are made of clear glass. For the doors and sides, you could choose clear, frosted or black lacquered finish. The back of the storage unit could be made of clear or frost glass.
